So scrolling through the Kingpin in which the best thing ever happened, I remembered we shot some other stuff for Sven Kilchenmann's interview, and I forgot if it was the same day, but it was definitely at the same school. Thanks to Kingpin Magazine for using both these photos and for being soo damn cool.

If you remember this sesh, John Hanlon zipped around the corner to the other rail and banged out this amazing shot. 10 tries and its a bango!

Brandon Del Bianco in Color Magazine

Wayyy up in Simi Valley where they are still developing things, you will see spots like this. I have never met Brandon Del Bianco and just rolling up to the spot, I saw filmer B. Alton and said hello for a second. Meanwhile Brandon had just started to try this switch flip.

While standing there, I shot a couple long lens, but was planning on doing the whole setup, flash or whatever. Well if your as good as Brandon, you will land it within 10 tries. After coaxing him to try a couple more fisheye with all the flashcrap, it was obvious that this was the best shot I had. It's amazing how things you don't plan, usually turn out the best. Thanks to Color Magazine and both Brandon's for hooking it up.

Rds Apparel with Ryan Decenzo and Empire

UCLA! When can you ever skate UCLA!?
So we skated a couple spots around the college, and rolled up on this famous rail, which is no secret spot, it being directly in the middle of campus. I think the amazing part, is it was done with a campus full of college kids. I mean, their was no break in concentration from Ryan, considering random passerbys with camera phones and under-breath heckling, and the gym staff stressing Ryan out.

2nd try after the "Lemme get 3 more tries?" - Never ceases to be amazing. Thanks to RDS and Empire for lining this up.

Ezekiel 2010 John Lupfer Ad in NYC

John Lupfer and I shot this during a trip to NYC, with Robert Lim, Clark Hassler and some other homies. We stayed at some crazy sublet in Soho next to a cheap chinese massage parlor in which we partook every night that they knew our names. Good times, and waiting on our next trip. Where you at JOHN!?

After about 400,000 actuations on my Canon 1d Mark 2, well.. its bound to happen... the shutter will break.. eventually.
Now what? Fix it? 1d Mark IV? 7D? Iphone? Just shoot the video..? Go home? Drink a beer, oh wait, ABD.

First time for everything... Rookie Red Rock'er

So I purchased my Panny HVX a while back, along with this crazy Micro Red Rock Rig with a Nikon Mount, which I havent really had a chance to use. About 1 year later, it was a pleasure to shoot this Active / Toms event in Irvine, California, and lug this epic camera around. Thanks again for Active and Mr Bragg for lining this up.
